REVIEW OF THE FILM 'THE MAN WHO KNEW INFINITY' As part of our subject association activity, we watched the move "The Man who Knew Infinity" based on the life of Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan on 21/3/2022. The film tells us story of the remarkable early-twentieth century mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. The film is exceptionally well scripted and includes a stellar cast. Ramanujan's genius grading recognized when he was growing up in South India. The movie gives hope that someone who always believed themselves to be ordinary can shine and be stunning. This is exactly what happens to Srinivasa Ramanuja Iyengar, played by Dev Patel in " The Man who Knew Infinity". The film stars Dev Patel as Srinivasa Ramanujan, a real life mathematician who after growing up poor in Madras, India, earns admittance to cambridge University, during World war I, where he becomes a pioneer in mathematical theories with the guidance of his professor, G.H. π - DAY In association with Pi-day on March 14, 2022, we the students of Mathematics optional planned to organize a discussion about Pi day is order to remember this day which is associated with Math. Pi day is an unofficial holiday that celebrates the mathematical constant Pi. It is celebrated on March 14 in countries that follow the month/date/year format because the digits in the date (3/14) corresponds to first three digits of (3.14) value of Pi. Pi day on March 14 also coincides with Albert Einstein's birthday. Pi (π) as a symbol never fails to enchant students. The curiosity associated with this Greek letter and its usage is extraordinary. As part of our subject association activity, we observed pi day on 18th March 2022. This day is an annual event that celebrates mathematical concepts and achievements behind the symbol π .
