SUBJECT ASSOCIATION ACTIVITY [ Talk on Career Paths ]

TALK ON CAREER PATHS

As part of our BEd curriculum we conducted a subject association activity based on Mathematics. It was a talk  on the topic "Best Mathematics Career Paths" on February 16th 2022. The programme started at 2:45 pm. Our association. secretary Selpa introduced the session. One of our friends Naveen conducted the talk. The talk covered an overview of career paths in mathematics, eligibility tests, job vacancies etc. He explained about several  mathematics careers including what these jobs entail, their growth and earning potential, and the skills needed to be succesfull. 

He also explained that the demand for mathematics expert has grown exponentially in a  number of careers. He also highlighted the importance of the subject statistics in different fields. He discussed that mathematician and statistician jobs are among the most promising career paths based the most on their income levels, growth, outlook and low stress work environments. He explained different important topics in statistics such as ANOVA, analysing statistical data etc.

It was an interactive session. Many of our friends clarified their doubts about the possibilities of a career after degree and PG courses. He explained about different eligibility test such as NET, SET, K-TET CTET etc. He also stated that mathematics opens doos to brightand  promising careers.

Today a person with exceptional maths skills is highly desired in the market. He also explained about the career options in computational Mathematics such as Banking,  Computer programming etc. Some students also shared their experience in learning different computer related courses. He also stated the salary and importance of data scientist. It was a good talk. We were able to acquire more knowledge about different career possibilities various parts of the world. Our association secretary Silpa appreciated the students for paying attention during the entire session. and thus the talk ended successfully.
