Hemandh, (Sanskrit: हेमन्त, romanized: Hemanta) is an Indian male given name. It is the namesake of Hemanta , one of the six Indian ecological seasons —Ritu—in northern half of Indian subcontinent, which runs in early winter approximately from November to December.

SUBJECT ASSOCIATION ACTIVITY [ Quiz Programme ]

 QUIZ PROGRAMME As part of Subject association activity a quiz programme was ssuccessfully organised 20/01/2022. Our association secretary Silpa monitored the programme and explained the rules and regulations to be followed in conducting the quiz competition. Two groups were formed, namely Team Ramanujan and Team G.H Hardy, each comprising of six members. The competition was held between these two groups. Two students from each group, Nithya and Jebin noted down the scores of their respective groups. Quiz programmes are often conducted to encourage to students to look beyond their textual knowledge and establish relationship between theory and application of the learnt concepts.  The main objective of conducting the quiz was to develop mathematical attitude and to evaluate mathematical knowledge of the participants. SUBJECT ASSOCIATION ACTIVITY [National Mathematics Day ]

NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY DECEMBER-22 A s part of. our B.Ed curriculum, we the students of F.M.T.C Mathematics optional started our  association activity by celebrating National Mathematics day on 7th January 2022. National Mathematics day is celebrated every year on December 22nd honouring the birth anniversary of mathematical genius, Srinivasa Ramanujan. The main objective behind celebrating the day is  to raise awareness among children about the importance of mathematics for the development of humanity. Since National Mathematics Day is an important day that is related to matematies, our association secretary Silpa initiated the session. In this session, we shared the ideas, importance and knowledge about National Mathematics Day, being a B.Ed. trainee.  The event was commenced by Nithya, who displayed samu mathematical tricks to understand the square of a difficult number.
