B.Ed. Mathematics

  Week 2  (19/06/2023 - 23/06/2023) On this week I completed the sections 'multiplication and division', 'different changes' and started the section 'algebraic method'. I also used Power point presentation to teach a topic during this week. International Yoga day were celebrated on Wednesday by conducting a special assembly.  In this week, National Reading Day was celebrated. Conducted assembly including Prayer, Pledge, National Anthem, Special speech by the PTA President, Rajesh sir. Hm talks to the children about the importance of reading.  Social science club was inaugurated on Thursday. There was an educational strike on Friday, so we did our works.

  WEEK 1   (14/06/2023 - 16/06/2023) As a part of our B.Ed curriculum the second phase of school internship programme started on 14th June 2023. Five of us Hemandh J S, Tijo Thomas, Naveen M S, Nikhil M S and Gayathry were assigned to the school, Govt:H.S.S Mangad. This was our first week of first phase of teaching practice. We reached the school at 9.30am and signed the register. We met our concerned teachers in the school. The teachers were motivating and friendly.    I was allotted to take classes for Standard VIII.A. I was assigned to teach two chapters namely 'Equations' and 'Polygons'. I completed upto the section adition and substraction of the chapter Polygons during this week.   WEEK 8  (20/02/23 - 24/02/23) On this week I completed the portions of class 9 and I started revision. On 20th Monday, we conducted a programme as per our syllabus EDU 12 related to the topic 'Citizenship Training - Duties and Rights of Indian citizens' on class 9. Our General and Physical education teacher visited our school for class observation during this week. We completed 40 days of School Internship (Phase I) in GHSS Mangad on this week and it was really a great experience for me as a student teacher.

  WEEK 7  (13/02/23 - 17/02/23) On this week, I completed the chapter 'Real Numbers' started the next chapter named 'Prisms'. On 15th Wednesday, we have conducted a conscientization programme on climate change on class 8. Students were actively participated in the programme. Optional teacher of physical science from our college came for class observation of other trainee on this week.

PLUS ONE : SEQUENCE AND SERIES PLUS TWO : MATRICES   A concept map or conceptual diagram is a diagram that depicts suggested relationships between concepts. Concept maps may be used by instructional designers,  engineers, technical writers and others to organize and structure knowledge. A concept map typically represents ideas and information as boxes or circles, which it connects with labeled arrows, often in a downward branching hierarchical structure but also in free form maps. They are a powerful study strategy because they help us see that big picture: by starting with higher level concepts, concept maps help you chunk information based on meaningful connections.
